About The Position
Barn Manager - Showjumping Facility Location: Just outside Los Angeles, California We're looking for an experienced Barn Manager to join our showjumping facility just outside Los Angeles. This is a hands-on, leadership role where you'll manage the daily operations of our barn, care for top-level horses, oversee staff, and handle financial management for the barn and family expenses. What You'll Do - Oversee horse care, barn cleanliness, and facility maintenance. - Lead a team of grooms, ensuring high standards of care and a positive work environment. - Manage logistics for national and international competitions, including travel and packing. - Track and manage barn and family budgets, paying bills, and preparing financial reports. - Coordinate with contractors for small barn renovations and repairs. - Build strong relationships with riders and owners. What We're Looking For - Proven experience managing a showjumping or high-performance equestrian barn. - Knowledge of horse care, health, and nutrition. - Strong organizational and financial skills (QuickBooks or similar is a plus). - Ability to work with contractors and manage small renovations. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Spanish-speaking skills are a big bonus!
