Young Horse Rider

About the position:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated horse person to join our team working with young show jumping horses. Our stable specializes in developing young horses from their first handling and backing through to the early stages of their sport career. We are looking for someone who shares our belief that young horses should be started with patience, understanding, and respect for the individual horse. The Position The role focuses primarily on: * Starting and backing young horses * Groundwork and daily handling * Developing confidence and trust in young horses * Riding young horses through their early education * Producing horses that are relaxed, brave, and enjoyable to ride * Daily horse care and stable duties as part of a team Who We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in someone with experience in starting young horses using a calm, horse-centered approach. A background in natural horsemanship, liberty work, groundwork, or other methods focused on communication and understanding the horse is highly valued.
