Barn Manager – Eindhoven, Netherlands Full-Time | Live-In | Private Accommodation Provided The Opportunity A privately owned professional equestrian facility in the Eindhoven area is seeking an experienced and dedicated Barn Manager to take full operational responsibility for a well-maintained 12-horse yard. This is a long-term, stable position with a compensation package set above current industry standards, offered by an engaged ownership team that values both horse welfare and staff wellbeing. What We Offer • Salary above industry standard, negotiable based on experience • Private accommodation on or near the property • Company car provided • Your horse is welcome • Your dog is welcome • Professional, well-equipped facility with a committed ownership team Your Responsibilities • Full daily care of 12 horses — feeding, turnout, grooming, and health monitoring • Maintaining barn cleanliness, bedding, and yard presentation to a professional standard • Managing feed, bedding, and supply inventory; coordinating deliveries • Liaising with vets, farriers, dentists, and other equine professionals • Overseeing any yard staff, grooms, or freelancers as needed • Keeping accurate health records, vaccination schedules, and medical logs • Ensuring facility safety, security, and general yard maintenance • Occasional transport duties using a truck (approximately 1–2 short trips per year within the Netherlands) • Regular communication with the owners regarding horse welfare and yard operations What We’re Looking For • Proven experience managing a professional equestrian yard of comparable size • Sound knowledge of horse health, nutrition, and veterinary awareness • Organised, autonomous, and calm under pressure • Valid truck/heavy vehicle driving licence (Category C or C+E) —1 /2 per year occasional move the truck. • Fluent in English; a bit of Dutch will be great • Legal right to work in the Netherlands (EU citizen or valid work permit)
