About the position:

Barn Manager – Private Showjumping Facility 📍 Location: Wellington, Florida We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Barn Manager to join our private showjumping stable in Wellington, Florida. This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing staff, caring for elite horses, and coordinating property and contractor management. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily horse care, feeding, turnout, and overall well-being. • Maintain high standards of barn cleanliness and organization. • Lead, train, and motivate a small team of grooms. • Manage logistics for national and international travel, shipping, and competitions. • Handle budgeting, payments, and expense tracking for the barn and family. • Coordinate with contractors and oversee light property maintenance. • Work closely with owners and riders to ensure smooth communication and operations. ⸻ Ideal Candidate • Proven background managing a showjumping or high-performance equestrian barn. • Solid understanding of horse care, nutrition, and health management. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Comfortable managing budgets and administrative tasks (QuickBooks or similar a plus). • Capable of coordinating projects and dealing with maintenance contractors. • Spanish-speaking ability is a strong advantage. ⸻ What We Offer • Salary: Around $82,000/year (depending on experience). • Housing and car provided. • Opportunity to work with a top-level team in the heart of Wellington’s showjumping community.
