About The Position
Assistant Barn Manager / Horse Professional – We are a private family ranch looking for an experienced equestrian who’s ready to move into a more stable, long-term role! We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join our family. You’ll be helping to manage a beautiful private barn that houses approximately 8 horses, 2 miniature Highland cows, and 2 Valais Black Nose sheep. The role is detailed, with full care and management responsibilities —including feeding, medications, grooming, turnouts/in, assisting with farrier and vet schedules, some riding, organization of supplies, inventories, cleaning and the overall organization and upkeep of the barn and facilities. If you have the experience and are comfortable working independently, managing all aspects of the barn, have a passion for living on site, are positive, friendly, able and willing to “wear many hats” as needed with a long-term mindset, we’d love to hear from you!
