About The Position
Brand new, state of the art sporthorse training facility Verona Equestrian is looking for an awesome person to come to the beautiful bluegrass in Kentucky to join our team! About our farm: Brand new 52 acre farm with all the amenities and a premium space to enjoy. We specialize in both imports from Ireland as well as a collection of American bred horses. 80x216’ covered arena with premium footing, outdoor arena, cross country course. Large beautiful rolling Kentucky bluegrass paddocks with four board fence, automatic waterers, and run-in sheds. About the job: Our focus is on the training and development of quality young horses into competition horses. We spend our day training horses and developing them into confident sport horses who love their jobs. Looking for: A positive, upbeat person who is detail oriented, self motivated, responsible, and loves horses. Someone who enjoys the opportunity for a career in horses where they are appreciated, with opportunity for growth, and a good bit of fun while we’re at it. Opportunity to learn and grow while improving in your riding and developing as a horseman. Benefits: •Weekly lessons with Advance level event rider—-great opportunity to develop your education, riding, and business skills. •On site housing with utilities included •Board for 1 horse or horse provided for you •Weekly stipend •Summers in Kentucky, Winters in Ocala FL •Opportunity to show and compete Salary note—-salary will be discussed with candidate.
