About The Position
McLain Ward Inc is hiring! We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Home/Show Groom to join our team at our top-level show jumping facility in Brewster, NY. Key Responsibilities: • Daily horse care including feeding, mucking out stalls, and maintaining a clean environment • Grooming, tacking up, and untacking horses for daily work and competition • Clipping, trimming, and other general grooming duties • Cleaning tack and maintaining grooming supplies • Assisting at shows with horse care, show prep, and presentation • Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns promptly Requirements: • Prior grooming experience with high-performance show jumpers preferred but also willing to train the right candidate. • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and work well in a team environment • Comfortable handling top-level sport horses • Ability to travel to shows as needed • Legal to work in the U.S. • Riding opportunities available for the right applicant This is a full-time position with competitive pay, opportunities to work with world-class horses, and be part of an elite team.
