About The Position
Private horse farm in Maryland, USA (about 1 hour from Philadelphia, PA) is seeking a reliable and responsible individual for all aspects of horse care and some limited farm care and management. Job duties to include daily mucking, buckets, turn out, medicating, grooming, tacking up, cleaning of facilities and equipment (laundry, floors, tack and feed rooms, storage areas etc) Some mowing, weed whacking, snow removal, small repairs to on-site structures & fencing, washing & maintenance of equipment including trucks, trailers, tractor would be a plus. Shared night checks and weekend duties required. Competitive compensation, health plan available, flexible benefits possible to top candidate. Private housing or housing stipend possible. Salary package to be commensurate with qualifications and work schedule. Requirements Legal to work in USA Pass a background check Excellent references Reliable transportation Horse experience Preferred Trailer hauling experience (4 horse gooseneck, 2 horse tag-a-long) Tractor experience Maintenance experience Riding
