Job Advertisement: Experienced or Trainee Horse Show Groom Location: Peer, Belgium Stable Focus: Show Jumping Stable Size: 12 Horses Position: Full-Time Horse Show Groom About Us: We are a dedicated show jumping stable located in Peer, Belgium, managing 12 horses focused on training and competing at the highest levels. We’re seeking a reliable and passionate groom to join our team. Whether you’re experienced in the competitive equestrian world or eager to learn, we welcome applicants who are dedicated to the care of our horses and committed to growth in the sport. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily care and grooming for horses, including feeding, mucking out, and maintaining a clean stable environment. Prepare horses for training and competitions, ensuring they are well-groomed, tacked, and ready for performance. Assist during competitions with tacking, cooling down, and caring for horses throughout the event. Monitor horses' health and well-being, recognizing any signs of injury or illness and reporting to the head trainer. Maintain the stable, tack, and equipment to the highest standards. Help with horse transportation when necessary (truck license is a plus, but not essential). Ideal Candidate: Previous grooming experience is preferred but not required – we’re open to candidates who are willing to learn. Strong attention to detail, with a deep commitment to the welfare of the horses. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A truck license would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. Calm, patient, and reliable. Fluent in English is preferred; What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
