Job Vacancy: Home Groom – Harskamp, Netherlands Are you a passionate horse lover with experience in grooming and horse care? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Home Groom to join our team and provide high-quality care for our horses in Harskamp, Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with horses in a peaceful and supportive environment. Position: Home Groom Location: Harskamp, Netherlands Work Week: 5.5 days per week Key Responsibilities: Grooming and preparing horses for daily activities, including brushing, washing, and tacking up. Assisting with feeding, ensuring horses receive the correct nutrition and supplements. Ensuring the general health and well-being of the horses, including monitoring their condition and reporting any health concerns. Helping with mucking out the stables. Assisting the Stable Manager with daily tasks, as needed, such as preparing the stable and managing supplies. Supporting the farrier and vet when needed, assisting with any special care instructions. General horse care tasks such as bandaging and maintaining grooming equipment. Requirements: Previous experience in grooming or working with horses is highly preferred. Knowledge of horse care, feeding routines, and general health monitoring. A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working with horses of all temperaments and sizes. Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required). A passion for horses and a commitment to their well-being.
