About The Position
Road manager position available. The program will be in Wellington for the first part of the season with 12 horses, and then will move on to other premier horse shows throughout the year. Job responsibilities include: -grooming, tacking, and some show preparation -managing horses' feed and supplement programs -keep horses show ring ready--clipped, bathed, etc. -tidy barn, keep horses' equipment organized, etc. -home duties include packing and unpacking from horse shows, managing horses' feed and nutrition programs, organizing appointments with vets and farriers, ordering supplies, keeping equipment organized, grooming and tacking for trainers and clients, some lunging and treadmill/therapy modalities, some management of other staff members, some clipping, other appropriate managerial duties at a premier show barn. -truck/trailer driving skills are desired but not necessary -some riding available if desired
