About The Position
Barn Manager - Showjumping Facility Location: Wellington, Florida We’re looking for an experienced Barn Manager to join our showjumping facility in Wellington, Florida. This is a hands-on, leadership role where you’ll manage the daily operations of our barn, care for top-level horses, oversee staff, and handle financial management for the barn and family expenses. What You’ll Do • Oversee horse care, barn cleanliness, and facility maintenance. • Lead a team of grooms, ensuring high standards of care and a positive work environment. • Manage logistics for national and international competitions, including travel and packing. • Track and manage barn and family budgets, paying bills, and preparing financial reports. • Coordinate with contractors for small barn renovations and repairs. • Build strong relationships with riders and owners What We’re Looking For • Proven experience managing a showjumping or high-performance equestrian barn. • Knowledge of horse care, health, and nutrition. • Strong organizational and financial skills (QuickBooks or similar is a plus). • Ability to work with contractors and manage small renovations. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Spanish-speaking skills are a big bonus!
