About The Position
Privately owned barn in the beautiful Sonoma County, CA is looking for a dedicated equine groom to join our team. The position involves providing individualized care for our seven retired but lively warmbloods while also maintaining the upkeep of the facility. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong passion for horses, committed to their care and well-being, has attention to detail, and is looking forward to become a part of a hardworking, and fun group of people. Duties consist of but not limited to daily turnout, walker, grooming, measuring hay, grain and supplement, equine therapy, some stall cleaning, property maintenance, equine first-aid, and monitoring the overall well-being of the horses. We are looking to fill a full-time position with 2 days off/week and holidays included. This is originally not a live in position, therefore local candidates are preferred.
