Job Opportunity: Groom for Home-Based Stable Are you passionate about horses and skilled in their care? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groom to join our team at our home-based stable. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a love and understanding of horse care, including treating, bandaging, clipping, and grooming. We would like to find a person that would be open to learn and become a groom that will come in the future in competitions with us. The position is perfect for a couple, because we would also need a handyman/gardener for the heavy work. Position: Groom a Position 2: Handyman/Gardener Location: Silkeborg, Denmark Responsibilities: Provide care and attention to horses in our home-based stable. Execute grooming tasks, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and maintaining the horses' overall appearance. Monitor and assess the health and well-being of each horse, promptly addressing any concerns. Administer necessary treatments, medications, and bandages as directed by the stable manager or veterinarian. Assist with feeding, exercise routines, and turnout of horses. Maintain a clean and organized stable environment. Requirements: Experience as a Groom in a stable or equestrian setting will be appreciated In-depth knowledge of horse care, including grooming techniques, bandaging, and basic medical treatments. Ability to handle horses with patience, skill, and confidence. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
