About The Position
Assistant Barn Manager Established Hunter/Jumper barn is seeking to employ a long-term, live in Assistant Barn Manager. Crosswinds is a 50 acre, 40 horse facility in beautiful Dutchess County, NY. We are looking for an experienced individual to assist us in providing the best care to our horses and clients. Duties to include barn chores, administering medications, trimming and mane pulling. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable communicating with clients regarding scheduling and their horses' care. They will also assist with vet and farrier appointments as well as preparing horses on show days. This is a friendly work environment with a lovely group of horses and clients. Large 1 bedroom apartment available onsite. Stall may also be available. We are also open to a couple. While this is not specifically a riding or teaching position those opportunities could be available to the right person. Position open March 1 . 6 days/week with competitive salary
