About The Position
RANCH HAND Ranch hand is expected to assist head trainer and all affiliates in carrying out the daily duties and ranch maintenance efficiently. Duties can include but are not limited to: • Up to twice daily mucking of stalls and arenas • Bring horses in/out of barn from pasture • Groom and tack/untack before and after training sessions or workouts • Inspect for abnormalities on horses • Apply topicals, give medication/supplements, as directed or needed • Feed daily supplements • Clean tack • Barn/ranch upkeep (sweeping, leaf blowing, pickup, laundry, mucking, weeding, raking, etc.) Qualifications: • 2+ years equine, livestock, or ranch experience • Must be able bodied, self-starting, and adept at taking direction Hours & Compensation: • Full-time/Part-time • Housing not included • Pay negotiable based on abilities
