• Experienced and comfortable working with fit competition horses • Self-motivated but also able to take instruction when required • Hard working and dedicated • Able to turn out to the highest standard • Able to work within a team and on their own when required • Punctual and a good timekeeper • Respectful and professional at all times on the yard when dealing with the horses and clients • Provide first aid to the horses as and when required • Capable of lunging/ exercising young horses and stallions • Great communication skills and the ability to liaise with external stakeholders in the absence of senior management • Able to provide a good reference
