About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated farm manager to join our team. The private farm has yearlings, weanlings, broodmares, as well as a few riding horses in the summer.. The position requires someone who can work 6 days a week from—reasonable hours. Duties include feeding, mucking, turnout, grooming, holding for farrier/vet, basic barn cleaning, and other farm-related tasks. Additionally, the right candidate will also work with young horses and assist with foaling (about 2-3 foals a year) Job Requirements: Prior experience with horses is required Ideally able to drive tractors and horse trailer Must be fluent in English Independent, self-starter with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and with a team Must have reliable transportation if local Housing is available on the farm, and we are open to candidates from outside the US for a 6-month assignment. The farm is a quiet and low drama environment, offering a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop their skills while working with horses.
