About The Position
Working Student with Stipend at Elite Classical Dressage Program Please Contact: Britton Rogan Aldie, VA message directly please insta: equimar_riding EQUIMAR, an elite classical dressage training stable located in Aldie, VA is ISO one individual to begin immediately. Working Student will provide upkeep and care for eight horses in exchange for a paid $400 weekly stipend, housing, utilities, board for your horse, weekly mounted lessons, school master lessons, paid vacation, signing bonus, relocation assistance and more. One Year Please EQUIMAR is a newly constructed elite dressage training stables that has been well designed for functionality and efficiency, producing horses that regularly train all the the movements through the Grand Prix. Specific working routine tasks include: -Basic daily chores (feeding, overnight turnout year round, daytime stalls year round, etc.) -Providing show quality turnout of all horses on training days (clipping, braiding, basic first aid, tack cleaning, laundry, etc.) -Facility cleaning (small projects, power washing, painting, tractor and water trailer operations, etc.) Additional Requirements: Positive and cheerful attitude a MUST! Physical demands of this job may include: long periods of standing and walking, heavy lifting and extended exposure to outdoor weather elements. Housing: Modern, private entrance and clean housing / no roommates, utilities, wifi, house keeping service, etc, are provided for a single individual, no space for families or pets at this time. Required Hours: M- off T- 8am - 10am W- 8am - 4pm Th- 8am - 10am F 8am - 4pm S 8am - 4pm Su 8am - 4pm This position is supported by three additional part-time staff that clean stalls on many days.
