About The Position
ShowGroom position / stable manager in South of Sweden, 6 days a week. Jumping stable with 6-8 horses from 4yo’s to GP level. We are based in Torna Hällestad 20 min from Lund, 30 min from Malmö and 45 min from the öresundsbridge. We produce quality show jumpers and competes both national and international Looking for a motivated person with good basic knowledge and horsemanship to work together towards bringing out the best in every horse. As a person you need to like to work independently and take initiativ. You will be responsible for the horses daily well being. Feeding, tacking up, longing, hacking out, clipping and organizing the stable. Riding is possible depending on personal skills. European visa and B-drivers licens is a must. Tasks will consist of the following: - Responsibility for 4-5 horses - Taking the horses in and out of the paddock - Feedings - Mucking boxes and making hay bags - Join shows (nat, international and tour) - Stay at home and look after the horses that are not at the show - Can shave the horses - lunge or ride them if necessary - Truck licence is not a requirement, but of course a plus if you have or are considering taking it
